Day 67 _Respect Authority

This is a very powerful story. Moses is an extraordinary leader. Imagine your own brother and sister attacking us. (Some of us have had this experience) But to be able to forgive them, and be merciful and pray for them. If I was in Moses' shoes and my sister did that to me, I wonder, I doubt i would be as merciful as Moses. But Jesus tells us If we have been forgiven, and expect to be forgiven by God then we have to forgive others.

Most of you bloggers are leaders. And I thank God for your leadership. I know the question is about respecting authority, my experience is that this is not an issue for you guys. But as leaders, this passage challenges me to be a leader who is worthy, easy to respect. I report to Pastor Sonny, who is one of my leaders. Pastor Sonny is a great leader. He treats me with respect, is encouraging, loyal, believes in me, loves me enough to speak frankly but kindly. He has taught me a lot how to be a leader worthy of respect. Uncles Jerry, Stevie, Curt, Daniel, Bryan, Dom, Kevin, Bruce, Aunts Jenn and Nancy are your leaders . They are have demonstrated week in and week out they are all worthy of your respect. Each of them have special qualities on full display which we can all copy and emulate. Then we will be leaders worthy of respect and pleasing to God and our fellowships and teams can be what God desires them to be.
