Day 57 - Exodus 13:17-14:31, Has God ever parted a "Red Sea" in your life?

i can't really think of anything dramatic that God made way for me currently... but i do recognize a parallel between the Israelites' short-attention-span and my own. they had just been lead out of Egypt through God's power over hailstorms, turning water into blood, powerfully conquering the Egyptian idols in their own game. no sooner though had they been finally led out, worshiping God, then pursued and screamed out, "WHY DID YOU LEAD US INTO THE DESERT TO DIE?!". wow... it made me laugh, but at the same time i can pinpoint those emotional deserts that i go through sometimes. and in those moments, its SO easy to turn your face to the sky and scream about how it feels God had left you in your miseries. how quickly we (i) forget the aWESOME power our God has; on the left and right, doing miracles in my own life, and still i am weak and forgetful. i really need to remember that God has never left me; not once. even as i type, He's watching me and pouring his love and grace. thank You God for never leaving us, even when we leave you.
