Sunday, 2/22/09, Day 102, Psalm 19:1-14
Does nature reveal the glory of God to you? Does God's law - his guidelines for living - reveal to you his trustworthiness, wisdom, and rightness?
Nature is beautiful, there is no doubt about that. From the tiniest green, crisp leaf in the Autumn breeze to the high top mountains that literally takes your breath away, nature is so pure and simple and yet not that simple. If you observe carefully, the components of nature each have their own characteristics. There are no two leafs that are exact duplicates of each other. I am speechless just in knowing that God put so much work into His creations and in creating every single small detail. The small and carefully crafted details make up one amazing product. It is also the same with His laws. There is so much thought that goes into developing these guidelines . They may not seem fair in the beginning, but if you really think about it, they are morally justified. The reason we think what is right or wrong is because He established the rights or wrongs in the first place. Our morals are derived from Him.
It is sad to know that nowadays and even in the past, His nature and His laws have been covered with so much corruption and garbage leading it to being something we fully can't recognize at first sight. The beauty is being masked by the stains of humanity. I think we have not really seen the real, true and pure beauty. I bet if we dig past all the garbage that humans had piled on, then that is only when we can truly see the original nature and laws that we are suppose to be appreciating and understanding. I think that it is His intention for us to see nature for what it really is or His laws for what they really are. We should not be gullible and fall for the manipulation and misinterpretation of what is suppose to be originally holy.
yay, it is short and simple.....well sort of =P
