Day 86-Special Strength

I like to read and think. This is how I've always been as soon as I learned how to read. if you have the chance to see my apartment, its basically a library, with a kitchen and bathrooms. It is how I do ministry. I like "big Ideas", I like to understand stuff. I like to learn new things.

I used to be very shy growing up. We were the only Asian family in town, so I always felt different, like I didn't fit in. So I kept to myself alot. It's hard to be a minister that way, so God has changed me a lot in this area. What used to be a weakness is now a strength.

One area where God is currently working is in the area of emotions. Most males, Asians tend to repress emotions. I'm getting better at recognizing emotions, and figuring out what is going on, but I still have a long way to go.

God does two things. God gives each of us a particular set of talents, abilities, experiences, so God can use in variou situations. God also is committed to helping us grow and learn and change so we can become what He intends us to be. So our job is two fold, identify understand how God made us and co-operate as God changes us.
