Day 78-Achen's sin

They say "A chain is only as strong as its weakest link." This story reflects this truth. Our destiny as believers is inextricably linked with others. Paul uses the metaphor of the body. We are one body in Christ. We need each other and we affect each other. Any weakness or infection will eventually affect the whole body. Paul says in I Cor 12;26 if one part suffers, every part suffers, if one part is honored every part rejoices. So we need to be accountable to each other and accountable to God.
