Monday, 12/29/08 (Day 47)

When I was younger, I found it difficult to believe that God could choose to use me for anything. There was nothing remarkable in my growing up years, just the usual turbulence of adolescence with some mild rebellion. It wasn't until later on that I recognized that God was using my past to build my future. Even when I left the church for a while to "find myself," I was aware that God was protecting me for a reason. He surrounded me with friends who cared more for me than I did for myself. He led me back to Himself through His integrity, love, and grace. And, to this day, He is using those things to prepare me to complete His plan in my life.
