This coming Easter is A LOT different than my other Easters. As some of you guys already know I work with The Noerr Projects Corporation. Some of you guys are asking "What is that?"Well I work with the Easter Bunny at Serramonte Shopping Center. I have seen a couple of you there! But I learned a lot from just working there for 3 weeks. I learned that a lot of people that take those Easter bunny pictures don't know the true meaning of Easter. It is really cute taking those pictures of the kids, don,t get me wrong. I have been the Easter bunny a few times and they tell me what they want for Easter. In my head I was like "What have we done to Easter" Same with Christmas, Christmas is Jesus birth and we are the ones getting the presents. Easter is Jesus resurrection and we take pictures with the Easter bunny. Not saying any of that is wrong, its just we as a whole changed the true meaning of these 2 holidays.
As you guys prepare for Easter and your big get together with family, big dinners. Or whatever vacations you guys went to. Just remember why we celebrate Easter. Its not for pictures with the Easter Bunny or an Easter egg hunt, (I have to admit I love hiding them eggs!) But its when we remember Jesus is risen! He is risen, this holiday is the reason why we go to church, this holiday is the reason why we are called Christians. Without Easter we wouldn't be where we are now. Just remember why we are celebrating Easter.
I hope you guys had a GREAT EASTER break! Notice I said Easter break and not spring break. Its really Easter break if you think about it!
