Day 155

What spiritual event you have attended has had the greatest impact on you? Did you get the feeling God was honored at this event?

Well, Ive been to many spiritual events but I cant name just one in particular. Well as you know I attended CEBC for over 13 years. Every year the youth ministry (Middle School and High School) they all go on a youth camp. They go to Camp Koinonia down in Watsonville. REALLY nice camp. Redwood trees all over the place. Swimming pool, good food, and best of all good fellowship! I went EVERY YEAR (except Junior year cause I had summer school >.<>

Through the various camps ive been too I can see God moving in people and of course myself. After dinner we had this time called prayer partners where they would pair us up with someone we never talk to and we would pray for each other. Through that I met so many people. Through that time I learned about some of my friends, they shared some VERY deep thoughts with me. My views on some of those people changed drastically. Camp is a just a tool to get people to know Christ. We have this thing called a camp high, where  we get back to the city we try to accomplish all our goals of doing our devotions daly and forgetting about the past and letting go of our sins and so on, but it dies after a while. All the stuff we learned from camp is gone. That really breaks my heart but in all honesty I believe camp had the greatest impact on my life.

I believe God was totally honored at our camps. Every year on the first day. Service would look really dull and people would look tired. People would just sit in their seat and pretend to sing. But by the end of the week everyone is standing on a chair praising God! How amazing is that? Seeing over 100 high schoolers standing on their chairs worshiping the Lord? So I think God was really really honored at our camps!

Hahaha well I believe I answered the question. Its more than 1 event but oh wells! I have MANY MANY camp stories =) So if you want to hear them ask me!
