Iris, my lovely lo pa is always telling me, not to write about her, but I can't help it. They say it is often better and easier to ask for forgiveness than persmission. here are several recent incidents of unexpected good.So when we went on retreat she packed my bag for me. God has given her a genius for packing bags. When we got to Zephyr Point and I opened it up it was a thing of beauty. She makes folded underwear and socks look like beautiful art objects.I sensed her love for me in the neatness and how she tried to anticpate my every need. I didn't want to unpack my bag it moved me emotionally. Needless to say, it didn't look like that by Monday.
During the retreat I talked to her several times a day. Every time she answered the phone, she shouted Lo Gung! She sounded happy to hear from me. by the time I finished talking to her, I always had a smile on my face, and I had more energy and optimism something I needed to get through retreat.
Right now I'm eating her congee. her congee is another way I experience her love. It's filled with dried scallops, s just the right thickness. Even though she's at work I feel her love.

hahaha....i just love your post mark. It was so funny and jovial to read. I especially like how she told you to stop writing about her XD. I really do enjoy reading about your relationship with Iris. You have a very sweet and God centered relationship with her and that is a good model relationship to someone like me. Although you did say that you get into some ugly arguments with her, it doesn't change the fact that in the end nothing can make you guys stop loving each other. Please keep on writing about Iris......even though she may not like it and hopefully she is not reading this last line XD
