Two ways God guides me. As I stay connected to God through prayer, Bible reading, worship, confession I am able to see reality more clearly and decisions are fairly clear. God has also brought people in my life who help and support me. They have the following qualities:
1. Care enough to hold me accountable
2. Can handle the real me
3. Ask the difficult questions
4. Enjoy me as a person
5. Affirm my worth, develop my sense of integrity
6. Willing to walk alongside in times of difficulty
7. Healthy, respectful but not fused or co-dependent
8. Challenge me to be my best
I always talk over major decisions with my wife, my best friend, my father.
