Saturday, 1/17/09, Day 66 - Numbers 11:4-23, 31-34, Do you ever grumble against God? If so, what tends to trigger the complaining?
Yes I have grumbled against God but it's not what He's telling me to do, it's when I get mad at my parents. I grumble to Him in my mind "Why do I have to deal with this nagging?" and blah blah, but even though it's for the better, but that's not a good way to teach a teenager about something right? lol, I'm not sure but I learned from Cameron House that maintaining a firm tone will help the child, teen understand what you're trying to teach them or say to them. I know He gave me these two wonderful parents (though sometimes they bug me) for a reason, and I still haven't really found it except that they actually let me go across the U.S.A with my school, and it did cost a lot, but I learned a lot, seeing my history come to life was the most amazing thing ever. And I liked how the people who worked there being "colonists" of Jamestown, and of course talking in a British accent. And even though I didn't know God then I think He gave me that oppurtunity to see that I am blessed to have an education my parents want me to have, but they didn't have when they were going to school, and they did travel around the U.S. before I was born, they went all over the place, like Niagera (sp?) Falls, Washington D.C., New York City, and probably other places that I didn't see pictures of. I guess they wanted to give me an oppurtunity where I can see my history come to life (the muskeet firings were awesome!). So I guess I should think more about what my parents have to offer me and what God has to offer me through my parents, and my younger brother, he is sort of techy, so he helps me with some technical stuff, and he wants to be a doctor too haha, he didn't specify.
