Day 75 - ("New Generation")

as always, there are tons of things that can be extracted from a single-day's devo. for today's the thing that my mind is wrapped up in is the fact that in this new generation for the Israelites, they are completely different from the past generation. these people are ready and willing to go into Canaan with God's help and trust Him with His plans. it's a complete reversal of the previous group of people, and it's really encouraging to hear of this new group.

i connect it to today, and i am praying that the youth of today could rise up like these Israelites. could our fellowship be a family for God and seeking out God's desires? shoot it'd be amazing to be a part of that, and to witness it. i pray that our fellowship CAN be like that!

also, every new day is brought to us by God, and no matter what happened in the past or what we went through in our own "deserts" yesterday, God allows us new opportunities to do different. another new day to glorify God. yep.

  1. Amen, Tim. I'm praying the same thing. I would like to say that God has partially answered our prayer. I believe the older generations are very encouraged by the youth of the Church. In Chinatown, the youth had their own service and there was very limited interaction between the generations. But at Daly City, the youth have revitalized the English congregation.
