Day 73 -Good Times or Bad

I had a friend who learned to make his day one long prayer. When he woke up, he said good morning to God, and thanked God and went over his upcoming day with God. But he didn't say amen. He kept the conversation going all day. As he read the morning prayer he would pray about the headlines. If he heard a police or fire siren he would ask God to help in the situation. He kept the prayer going until he returnedd at night to bed when he went over the day. This guy had learned a bigsecret to living the Christian life. It was a moment by moment thing, good times or bad times it didn't matter.

That said, either can be a way God reaches out to us. It used to be good times I would drift away from God, be less dependent on God. But after I learned that worship song Blessed be Your Name and that story about the Chinese Farmer and his horse I learned to face good or bad with the same attitude.
