Monday, 12/29/08 (Day 47) Exodus 1:1-2:15 In what ways has God groomed you?

hey guys

.....ummm are we suppose to start now because no one posted anything yet? well, i guess i would take the first initiative? hmmm this is very interesting, i have never done anything like this or maybe i have?

In what ways has God groomed you? well, i read the passage about how Moses was given a good life despite him not really being an Egyptian. He started out living a wealthy sheltered life until he became exposed to the real world, which led him to gain a new perspective.

In a way i can relate because i think i was very naive when i was younger. My life was pretty good compared to others. I had a nice home, good education, friends that seem to be genuine, and a family. I guess as you grow up, reality kicks in. The way i was living was short lived because a lot of mess came in and i was shown to a world outside my own. For example, the lifestyles of people in third world countries. I think that God gave me two perspectives to compare. My life that was good on the surface and other people's lives that were both bad on and off the surface. It made me realize how blessed i am. I guess i dont understand why i am so lucky because i dont see much a difference between me and other people in the world. The question for me has always been "why me?" I am just like them....i am a human and so are they. We are different, but i bet on the inside we are similar. I guess God wants me to use the life that i have been given to help others. I mean i can afford to help others. He gave me this life not to live for myself alone, I bet He wanted me to use it in use. Who else will help these people who dont have power to help themselves? I have been given a power to change something and I think that is how God groomed me. He showed me love in my life by giving me all these blessings; now it is in the process to prepare me to share what i have been given to those who dont have anything.
